Working in partnership with national organisations, curriculum hubs, and our regional networks, we signpost evidence-informed training, research, leadership development and subject-specific opportunities.

We are proud to work with many Hubs across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Solihull and Stratford-on-Avon to deliver support and training to schools and teachers.

We have compiled lists of Curriculum Hubs for each of the areas within the Tudor Grange Teaching School Hub region.

Excellence in Reception Teaching (EiRT) Programme

Excellence in Reception Teaching is a professional development programme for experienced reception teachers and teachers moving into a reception role who want to strengthen classroom practice, deepen their understanding of child development and improve outcomes for children at a vital stage in their education.

Short, focused and practical, the programme consists of about 20 hours of learning over two school terms, combining flexible self-study with live facilitated sessions that fit around busy school life.

Universal Support

Universal RISE aims to mobilise the strengths already in the system to raise standards everywhere. This includes:

• signposting effective practice through
• encouraging peer-to-peer support through conferences
• bringing schools together to share knowledge and innovation

Targeted Support

Targeted provides tailored support for schools facing the greatest challenges. RISE advisers engage with eligible schools and their responsible body to agree an improvement plan, backed by resources to reduce barriers to improvement. Schools are supported to improve over 12 to 24 months and are monitored by regular Ofsted inspections.
