Teacher Development Trust

Founded by teachers in 2012, the Teacher Development Trust (TDT) is the national charity for effective professional development in schools and colleges.

TDT’s flexible study approach is underpinned by high quality, web-based self-study with plenty of online discussion with your peers and support from your course leader.

Teach First

Since 2003, Teach First have been improving the life chances and choices for children experiencing poverty, placing more than 16,000 teachers in low-income areas, supporting more than two million children to fulfil their potential.

We are working with Teacher First to deliver the NPQ for Leading Primary Mathematics.

The NPQLPM is delivered using a blend of online seminars, flexible online learning and two in-person
conferences. ‘My Teach First’ is the online platform you’ll use to access study materials and activities on our learning management system, Brightspace.

Programme members in schools serving deprived communities will have free access to Teach First one-to-one support. These are a series of coaching calls with experienced teachers and leaders, focused on supporting you to contextualise your learning and implement changes in your school.

Best Practice Network

Best Practice Network share the desire of every practitioner that every child, regardless of their background, should benefit from an excellent education. They do this by working in close partnership with practising education professionals to develop and deliver high-quality CPD and qualifications that help all educators be the best they can be and transform the lives of children and young people.

We are working with Best Practice Network to deliver the NPQ for SENDCO.

Participants will access individualised training based on areas they have identified as needing improvement. Our cyclical programme structure utilises Face-to-Face training, online learning and 1:1 coaching to deliver a comprehensive learning experience that fits around busy teacher timetables.
