Message from the Director:

We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year Thank you for your continued interest, support, and partnership with Tudor Grange Teaching School Hub.  We are excited about the events to come in January, including our new regional subject events for Science and English, following the success of our Computing meeting in December.  There is still time to sign up for an NPQ in Feb 23, and to host one of our excellent SCITT trainees in your school in the spring term, so please sign up below and share these opportunities with others.  We are welcoming all the NPQs in for their face-to-face sessions in January, as well as the local and regional events for our ECTs.  If you have any questions about ITT, AB, ECF, NPQ, or CPD, please just ask. Our contact details are on our website, and we are always happy to hear from you.  We hope you enjoy a well-deserved holiday, and look forward to working with you again in the new year.

 Early Career Framework

Thank you to all of our wonderful Early Career Teachers for the contributions they are making to their schools, and the lives of the children they teach.  Thank you to the wonderful mentors, induction tutors, and facilitators, who look after the ECTs with such wisdom and generosity.  If you would like to join our family of ECTs, or would be interested in facilitating with us in the new year, please find out more here.

 Appropriate Body

Thank you to everyone who has completed their end of term assessments in good time, and for the care you are taking of your early career teachers.  It is a pleasure working with you.  We are grateful for our partnership with the local authorities in Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire as we work together to provide the best statutory induction support that we can.  Do you have any questions about AB services, and what you need for your school?  We are happy to help in any way we can.  Find out more here.

  National Professional Qualifications

We are recruiting for our Feb 23 NPQs now, so please make sure your school, MAT or region has signed up.  We are running the leadership qualifications: NPQH, NPQSL, and NPQEYL in February, all based in Solihull.  Find out more here.

We are running the full suite of NPQs again in October 23, and we want to emphasise that they are government-funded only until 2024 at the moment, so please sign up while you can!

The deadline for Feb 23 cohorts is Jan 10th, but please sign up before Christmas to avoid missing out.  Sign up here and select 'TDT' as the lead provider, and 'Tudor Grange' as the delivery partner.

We are so thankful to our team of inspiring facilitators from the local region, and the years of experience that they offer our participants.  Interested in facilitating for us?  Express an interest here.

 Initial Teacher Training

Our SCITT trainees are having a brilliant experience in their placement schools, and we are grateful to all of our school partners for supporting the next generation of teachers to find their way.  We have loved hearing about one of our primary trainees, who has conquered the ukulele and helped his school to write their new school song with it!  We love that our trainees always want to go the extra mile for the schools and children that host them.  Did you know 50% of our trainees end up employed in their placement school?  We know how important recruiting high-quality teachers is to you, so if you would like to host one of our trainees in Spring 23 or Autumn 23, please express an interest here, as we'd love to work with you!
