The Tudor Grange Teaching School Alliance is the professional development Centre for the Tudor Grange Academies Trust. Through the Alliance we offer high-quality training facilitated by experienced school leaders, who have proven track records in leading successful school improvement resulting in improved outcomes for children. Our wide-ranging training and support programmes are available to all schools and academies.
The feedback from our partners is that a mutually supportive relationship between schools helps to improve the quality of education for young people. Relationships formed in our alliances are highly motivating and provide schools and school leaders support with rapid improvements in standards.
The Primary Alliance is based in, but not exclusive to, Solihull, Worcestershire and South Warwickshire. Our common aim is to provide an excellent education for young people. We currently have 16 schools within the alliance and serve a wide range of communities. The alliance package includes half termly Headteacher briefings, termly Literacy and Numeracy leader meetings, EYFS and SENCo termly workshops and half day support from our alliance lead. Our alliance schools also have access to a range of subsidised CPD opportunities such as our annual NQT conference. We welcome requests from Primary Schools who wish to receive additional expertise to support ongoing school improvement. You don’t need to be in our alliance to access our support. We offer a range of high quality professional learning and bespoke school improvement work tailored to your needs and delivered by experienced and skilled leaders.
A select group of schools, working together, as part of a self-improving system, committed to the most effective, relevant CPD and leadership development, to have the greatest impact on classroom practice and on progress of students.
CPD and Talent Management
Helping your stars to shine at every level – our suite of CPD programmes and hubs is designed to enable the classroom practitioner, leaders and governors to develop and embed practice and create impact on outcomes for young people. This impact remains at the heart of all that we do, and we are committed to enabling colleagues at all levels to excel – whether this relates to developing an individual in their application of pedagogy, or developing a new culture of action research in your school, we are committed to working with you.
Each year we provide the highest quality training, through discussion and practical activity for all newly qualified teachers in a one day conference. Facilitated and delivered by a team of teaching staff who are passionate about education and the development of teaching and learning, the conference aims to invigorate, inspire and motivate. Check the events calendar for the next conference dates and focus.
